ABOUT US


Gamit was founded in 1990 and selected London Stansted Airport as its headquarters location at the time due to the expansion plans for it to become a major London International Airport. The specific aim of Gamit was and still is to supply professional and technical support to local and international MROs (Maintenance Repair Organisation), airlines, private and corporate aircraft owners.

From inception Gamit has seen a stable growth proving an upward trend year on year in profits which in turn has increased services offered to its customers worldwide, ranging from financial institutions from the United States of America to contracts with MROs as far as the Far East. The support and services Gamit offers include; consultancy, engineering project management, technical representation, Part M – CAMO, engineering record audits and a stockist of aircraft spare parts supporting supply chain management requirements on both Commercial and Business Aviation aircraft platforms.

The key to Gamit’s growth is our ability to understand the customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations in achieving the goal. Over the years, Gamit has built a strong reputation for a professional, high quality and flexible service targeting long term relationships.

An important driver to Gamit’s success is the services provided within the VIP and Head of State area of completion projects. In recent years Gamit has been proud to support some of the world’s finest and largest projects in aviation history which has contributed to Gamit earning a strong reputation in this respect.

THE MANAGEMENT


The management team at Gamit has been especially selected because of its expertise in the various sectors within aviation including; airline, corporate aircraft, VIP and MRO engineering services. It is through a strong technical knowledge base that Gamit can confidently provide essential services and understanding to its customers’ needs.

CHAIRMAN – FOUNDER

A licensed aircraft engineer on both narrow and wide body aircraft, 
a Certified Chartered Engineer (CEng) and appointed as a Fellow by the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS). K Muhiddin provides essential experience in engineering, legislation, finance and key client relationships to Gamit among other business ventures in industry.

Tailwind Airlines is a Turkish airline currently flying Boeing 737 aircraft on charter basis. Tailwind has been in successful operation since 2007 transporting passengers across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Gamit is exclusive provider of technical and full material support. Royal Aeronautical Society

The Royal Aeronautical Society is a carefully selected professional body that Gamit has partnered with. As the world’s only professional body dedicated to the aerospace community, it exists to further the advancement of aeronautical art, science and engineering around the world.

Established in 1866, the Society has been at the forefront of developments in aerospace ever since, seeking to promote the highest professional standards in all aerospace disciplines, provide specialist information and act as a central forum for the exchange of ideas and play a leading role in influencing opinion on aerospace matters. QUALITY ASSURANCE


From top level management Quality is a fundamental aspect of how Gamit delivers its services to the client. By maintaining a strong outlook on how the quality management system (QMS) is integrated in the practices at Gamit, the client can be assured they will receive the same level of service time after time dealing with the Gamit team.

Over the years Gamit has developed an in house quality system of procedures that is continuously evolving to bring a guaranteed quality of service to the client in addition to efficiencies and to ultimately bring cost savings.

Gamit’s quality manuals, forms and procedures are in the first place in accordance with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements as required by all Continuing Aircraft Maintenance Organisations. Secondary to the CAA, Gamit is also approved in accordance with ISO9001:2008 and AC 00-56A. Both 3rd party quality accreditations ensure that Gamit has a stringent system of work parameters, minimising the possibility of error.
